n what would have been the 50th year of Rory Gallagher’s recording career, UMC are pleased to announce the release of ‘BLUES’ on Friday May 31st, 2019. From the vaults of the Gallagher estate’s tape archive comes this collection of rare and unreleased recordings of Rory playing his favorite blues material. Ranging from never heard before tracks to special guest sessions with legendary blues artists (Muddy Waters / Albert King) and lost radio sessions, this album uncovers Rory’s love of the blues throughout his solo career from 1971 right through to 1994.

je l'ai enfin choper, c'est du tout bon
c'est vraiment de l'inédit où ça se trouvait en Bootleg ?
Est-ce que les dates sont dans le booklet ?

Après une première écoute c'est vraiment du tout bon.
Une remarque cependant. Beaucoup de titres proviennent de sessions d'enregistrements des albums studios. Pourquoi avoir attendu cette compile pour nous les faire découvrir ?
On a quand même eu droit à 4 séries de remasters des albums studios. La première en 1999/2000, puis en 2011 chez Eagles Records, 2012 chez Sony Legacy et 2018 chez Universal Music. Pourquoi ne pas avoir inclus ces titres plus tôt ?
