Superbe titre, j'adore notamment l'intro, et le texte est émouvant, dans la grande tradition du blues. Une grande compo de Rory.

"I recorded the track on my own with my foot tapping, a tambourine, and a low electric, a Veillette-Citron, made in New York. It's tuned very low, like a baritone guitar. I used my Washburn acoustic; the slide was a National Duolian. Lou Martin from the old days plays on this one. Lou has that unusual touch with acoustic piano, give it that extra touch of drama." -- Rory Gallagher

Traduction: "J'ai enregistré le morceau moi même en tapant du pied, avec un tambourin, et une faible électrique, une Vieillette-Citron, fabriquée à New York. Elle est accordée très bas, comme une guitare baryton. J'ai utilisé ma Washburn acoustic, et la slide était joué sur une National Duolian. Lou Martin de la vieille époque joue sur celle-ci. Lou a cette touche inhabituelle au piano acoustique, ça donne cette touche dramatique supplémentaire."

Vers 1:45 Rory chante "I was on the stage with BB King" et pointe le coin de la scène à sa droite. BB King était visiblement dans le public du Cardis Club de Houston ce soir-là. Plus loin dans la chanson il l'appelle même par son prénom "I said Riley bend the string you like the most".
